Fair enough - credit where credit is due.

On the plus side for me, it only took about 3 days for the new parts to arrive and be fitted.

I had my cc in for its six month service and Peugeot didn't spot anything wrong. I then scratched my car

Two weeks later I'm still waiting for delivery of the part!

we had our new manifold a month, guess what? sounds like it's gone again going to have to find the time to revisit our friendly dealer again to confirm my worst fears, starting to wish i hadn't bought it.

Took my 2.0SE to the dealership because it was running rough and had lost a bit of power, the weld on the manifold had cracked but they haven`t replaced it only re-welded it. The car is running smooth again and has got its power back, just have to wait and see if it lasts....

Ni"cc"k - have you noticed any performance difference/improvement since having it fixed?

quick update on my previous post- the car has been back to the dealers today and it is a cracked manifold again. Two months and it's cracked again, not bad going even for my standerds.

It's definitely a known problem. I popped in today and when I mentioned it, he asked if it was a 2.0l.

Seems to me the car's not as powerful as it should be - I also only got around 240 miles out of the tank this time...

Jodie,
I have responded to your question on the other thread. Your car is a 1.6 so probably this manifold thread is not appropriate to your problem.
