REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR SCREEN UPPER SEAL
1 - TOOLING
[1] Roller (-).1349 - G .
2 - REMOVAL
Lift the roof then place it in the intermediate position for accessibility ; Two operators are necessary .
Unclip the pins (1) at both ends .
Release the upper seal (2) at (A) partially unseating the lower seal (3) .
Unseat the rear screen upper seal (2) from the lower moulding to the corner moulding .
Repeat the operation for the moulding at the other end .
Unclip the corner moulding hooks (4) by pushing upwards at (B) .
Unseat the horizontal strips (C) of the seal (2) .
3 - REFITTING
NOTE : apply a product to assist fitting on the flange (example: soapy water) .
WARNING : pick up the part carefully, at the two corner mouldings, keeping the horizontal and vertical strips perpendicular in relation to each other .
Fit the corner moulding (D) on the rear screen flange (5) .
Clip the hook (4) in the rear screen hole (5) .
Repeat the operation for the moulding at the other end .
Fit the roof lower formed section (E) at the bottom of the flange along the rear screen (5) .
WARNING : do not fold back the clip base lip (F) .
Fit the roof upper formed section (G) in the panel u until it makes contact with the angle bracket (H) .
Position the lower moulding (I) and clip the 2 pins (1) .
IMPERATIVE : always replace the pins whenever work is carried out .
Position the rear screen lower seal clip (3) correctly on the rubber skin of the rear screen upper seal at (A) .
Fit the seal on the rest of the side flange positioning the lip (J) on the trim (6) .
Pass the tool [1] over the attachment zone (K) to finish fitting .
Repeat the operation for the side section on the other side .
Proceed in the reverse order to removal .
Test operation .
