REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT MOVING PANEL SIDE SEAL
1 - TOOLING
[1] Tool for positioning the seal nipple (-).1349-B .
[2] Roller (-).1349-G .
2 - REMOVAL
APPLY THE OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR HYDRAULIC PUMP LOAD REDUCTION .
Lift the roof then place it in the intermediate position for accessibility (Two operators are necessary) .
Unclip the side seal sleeve (1) at (A) .
Unseat the seal (1) .
Unclip the sleeves from the side seal (1) at (B) - (C) .
Pull the seal (1) forwards to unseat it from the flange at (D) .
Remove the moving panel side seal .
3 - REFITTING
Clip the sleeves (B) - (C) in the holes using a tool [1] (Use soapy water to make fitting easier) .
Fit the seal (1) at (D) for a few centimetres .
Position the rear moulding of the seal (1) on the flange (perpendicular to the flange) .
Place the moulding at the stop on the flange .
Clip the sleeve (A) in the hole using the tool [1] .
Fit the seal (1) on the rest of the side flange .
Position the lip (2) on the trim (3) .
Pass the tool [2] over the attachment zone (E) to finish fitting .
Proceed in the reverse order to removal .
Test operation .
