REMOVAL - REFITTING ALL THE STRUTS AND HYDRAULIC PIPES FOR A RETRACTABLE ROOF

1 - REMOVAL

Remove : THE ENTIRE RETRACTABLE ROOF .

Place the roof in the position indicated, protecting the rear screen .

Remove from each side :

• the stop clips (1)
• the strut pins (2)

Detach the strut and its hydraulic pipes from the roof frame mechanism .

Remove :

• the hydraulic pipes no. 11 (A) and no. 12 (B) : left roof strut
• the hydraulic pipes no. 13 (C) and no. 14 (D) : right roof strut

2 - REFITTING

WARNING : never lean on the stem of the strut before connecting the hydraulic pipes .

IMPERATIVE : always replace the copper seals at each operation .

REPLACE THE PIPES ON THE CENTRAL HYDRAULIC UNIT .

Replace the entire retractable roof .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Test operation .

CHECK THE OIL LEVEL IN THE HYDRAULIC PUMP RESERVOIR .
