REMOVAL - REFITTING RETRACTABLE ROOF ASSEMBLY
1 - TOOLS
[1] cross beam (-).0102-D .
[2] Set of 4 straps (-).0916-B .
[3] lifting hooks (-).0102-J / (-).0102-G .
[4] Set of 4 shackles (-).0916-C .
[5] Mobile hydraulic crane .
2 - REMOVAL
REMOVE THE SCREEN (LUGGAGE COVER) .
Disconnect the ecu (1) connector (2) .
Unclip and disconnect the rear screen/passenger compartment/end of travel switches harnesses (3) .
Retain the harnesses on the metal frame prior to handling .
Remove the fasteners (4) .
REMOVE THE MOVING REAR SHELF .
Refit the roof supports temporarily .
Fold the roof in the boot .
NOTE : store the boot upper cover struts in the folded roof free space (take the necessary precautions) .
Remove the fasteners (5) .
WARNING : do not touch the frame centring pins (6) .
Attach adhesive tape to the roof at (A) to protect the flange .
Raise the rear moving shelf mechanism (B) .
Position the tools [1] - [2] - [3] - [4] - [5] .
Raise the folding roof assembly .
Remove the roof assembly taking care to protect the rear screen in contact .
3 - REFITTING
Position the roof assembly on the body using pins (6) .
Detach and remove the tools [1] - [2] - [3] - [4] - [5] .
Fit the fasteners (5) .
REFIT THE MOVING SHELF ON ITS MECHANISM THEN PLACE IT VERTICALLY AGAINST THE PARTITION .
Detach the protective tape (A) .
Close the folding roof manually .
Check that there is no roof operating stress .
Remove the roof supports .
Fit the fasteners (4) .
Tighten :
Clip, clamp and connect the connectors (1) - (3) and the harnesses .
REFIT THE SCREEN (LUGGAGE COVER) .
Carry out a roof/boot assembly operation check .
