REMOVAL/REFITTING OF THE ROOF STRIKER

1 - REMOVAL

Place the vehicle in cabriolet position .

REMOVE THE WINDSCREEN TOP TRIM .

REMOVE THE SCREEN PILLAR TRIM .

Disconnect the connector (1) .

Remove the striker fixings (2) - (3) .

Remove the striker(4) .

2 - REFITTING

Fit the striker(4) .

Connect and clip the connector (1) .

On the right-hand side :

• tighten the fasteners (2) - (3) to 1 da.Nm

On the left-hand side :

• tighten the fasteners (2) to 1 da.Nm
• switch on the ignition
• change the vehicle into the coupé version
• check the positioning of the adjustable section of the striker Y (5) at (4)
• tighten the fasteners (3) to 1 da.Nm

IMPERATIVE : before tightening the fixings (2) - (3), do not lock the striker with the locking control .

Test operation .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .
