REMOVAL - REFITTING BOOT UPPER COVER HYDRAULIC STRUTS AND PIPES ASSEMBLY

Change the vehicle into the coupé version .

Remove :

Open the central hydraulic unit sound-proofing cover .

1 - REMOVAL

1 - 1 - RIGHT STRUT

Remove the clip (1) and the pin (2) of the strut at the top .

Unclip the link (3) .

( On the right-hand side) Remove :

The clip (6) and the shaft (7) of the strut at the bottom .

Uncouple the right strut and place it in the boot with the hydraulic pipes .

Remove hydraulic pipes no. 25 (A) and no. 26 (B) .

Plug the openings on the strut .

Remove :

1 - 2 - LEFT STRUT

Uncouple the right strut and place it in the boot with the hydraulic pipes .

Remove hydraulic pipes no. 25 (A) and no. 26 (B) on the right strut .

Plug the openings on the strut .

Remove the clip (8) and the pin (9) of the strut at the top .

Unclip the hydraulic pipes (10) from the circuit .

Open the luggage compartment .

Remove :

2 - REFITTING

2 - 1 - RIGHT STRUT

IMPERATIVE : always change the clips (1) , (6) whenever work is carried out .

IMPERATIVE : always replace the copper seals at each operation .

Fit :

hydraulic pipes no. 15 (C) and no. 16 (D) on the central hydraulic unit (tighten pipe no. 15 (C) to 1,2 ± 0,35 dan.m and no. 16 (D) to 1 ± 0,25 dan.m)
the hydraulic pipes no. 25 (A) and no. 26 (B) ( tighten the securing bolts to 0.3 da.Nm)
the right strut

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Test operation .

2 - 2 - LEFT STRUT

IMPERATIVE : always change the clips (8) , (11) whenever work is carried out .

IMPERATIVE : always replace the copper seals at each operation .

Fit :

the hydraulic pipes no. 25 (A) and no. 26 (B) (tighten the securing bolts to 0,3 da.Nm)
the left strut
the right strut

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Test operation .
