REMOVAL - REFITTING FRONT WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

1 - TOOLING

[1] Windscreen wiper arm extractor (-).1335 .

2 - REMOVAL

IMPERATIVE : switch on the ignition : ensure that the motor is in the stop position (stop position on the stalk) switch off the ignition .

Remove the fasteners (1) .

Using the tool [1] extract the wiper arms .

Remove the water flow grille (2) .

Remove :

• the fasteners (3)
• the fastener (4)
• the air duct (5)

Disconnect the connector (6) .

RIGHT HAND DRIVE

Remove :

• the battery
• the battery container (7)

ALL MODELS

Remove :

• the front wiper motor assembly

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Engage the front wiper motor assembly, following a movement A then B .

NOTE : before tightening the wiper arms, operate the wipers ; put the switch to position : STOP ; position the blades in relation to the marks on the windscreen .

Tighten the fastener (1) to 2,5 daN.m. .

Check the operation .
