REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR QUARTER PANEL WINDOW MECHANISM

1 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE QUARTER LIGHT GLASS .

Disconnect the connector (1) .

Remove the lower fixing (2) .

Remove :

• the fastener (3)
• the fastener (4)

Detach, then tilt the mechanism (5), in order to withdraw it via the panel cut-out, body side .

2 - REFITTING

Fit :

• the window winder mechanism
• the quarter light

ADJUST THE MECHANISM AND THE GLASS, IN ORDER TO TIGHTEN THE FIXINGS .

Tighten the bolts to 0.8 ± 0.2 da.Nm. in the order indicated : (3), (4), (2) .

Test operation .

IMPERATIVE : fit new seals, which must be assembled without folds and tears ; absolute cleanness of the contact face on the vehicle is necessary ;run a wheel over the parts of the flange to be bonded ; these recommendations are essential to prevent possible entry of water, dust or noise .
