REMOVAL - REFITTING BLIND OPENING MECHANISM CABLES

IMPERATIVE : store the concealing blind in its housing .

Remove the headlining .

Remove the concealing blind sub-assembly .

Remove the concealing blind shutters .

1 - REMOVAL

Remove :

• the motor
• the 2 rivets (1) either side of the concealing blind sub-assembly (using a ø 4,5 dia. drill bit)
• separate the housing (2) from the rails (3)

Unclip the drive guides (4) from the carriers (5) using a screwdriver .

Remove the 6 other guides .

Detach the cables (6) from the right and left rails (7) .

2 - REFITTING

WARNING : the side guides and the right and left cables are not identical .

Fitting of the cables .

Grease the new cables (6) before fitting .

Fit the cables (6) in their respective rails (7) .

Reassemble the housing by refitting the 4 rivets .

Fitting of the guides on a rail .

Clip a guide (4) to its carrier (5) on its respective rail and then assemble the 3 others .

Carry out the same operation on the other rail .

NOTE : before fitting the 4 shutters, check that all the guides are correctly in their rail .

Fit the 4 shutters observing the direction of assembly .

Fit the motor .

Test the operation and store the shutters in the housing .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .
