REPLACEMENT ROOF

WARNING : all the scoured areas must be protected by the approved electrolytic re-zincing process .

IMPERATIVE : observe elementary health and safety rules (wearing of filter mask for organic fumes - work in a ventilated area) .

1 - COMPLEMENTARY OPERATION(S)

Removal-fitting :

• windscreen
• quarter light
• sun roof (according to specification)
• aerial
• roof finishing seal
• tailgate

Remove-refit trim :

• the roof

Detach :

• the electrical harnesses
• the aerial cable

2 - IDENTIFICATION OF REPLACEMENT PARTS

4 - CUTTING OUT

Cut out by milling out the spot welds .

Cut out by milling out the spot welds .

Cut out by milling out the spot welds (symmetrical cuts) .

Remove the roof .

5 - SEPARATING

Prepare the mating edges .

Prepare the mating edges .

6 - ADJUSTMENT

Fit the roof panel .

Clearance check .

Remove the roof .

Apply supporting structural adhesive .

7 - WELDING

Spot weld (Using AB1 equipment) .
