REMOVAL - REFITTING HEADLINING

1 - REMOVAL

Remove :

• the sun visors
• the sun visor retaining hooks
• the courtesy lamp
• the map reading lamp

Remove :

• the roof console (by unclipping at (A))
• the grab handles or blanks
• the interior mirror
• THE RAIN SENSOR (according to specification)

Unclip :

• the door frame seals
• the screen pillar trim pads
• the centre pillar trim

Remove :

• the quarter panel trim pads

NOTE : the headlining must be handled carefully to prevent any damage .

Unclip the pieces of velcro on the rear section of the roof .

Using a hot air gun and a spatula, progressively release the headlining, starting at the windscreen .

Allow the headlining to rest on the seats .

Remove the headlining rearwards .

2 - REFITTING

Apply a coat of neoprene adhesive to the new or re-used headlining .

Observe the bonding dimensions (B) .

Position the headlining correctly .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .

Clean the headlining with soap and water .
