BOOT LID IMMOBILISATION ; FOR AN OPERATION ON THE BOOT OR THE ROOF

IMPERATIVE : CARRY OUT THE LOAD REDUCTION OPERATION FOR THE HYDRAULIC UNIT .

Release the lower (1)striker plate by pushing on the hook (2) and moving aside the boot lid .

Close the boot .

Raise the boot lid .

Take the 6 sided spanner [1] from the emergency breakdown kit .

Engage the key [1] in the guide (3) of the right side hinge .

Immobilise the boot cover .

After repair :

• remove the hexagonal wrench from the guide (3)
• fold down the boot cover to the front by lightly pressing in the centre of the cover to counter the residual pressure of the system
• open the luggage compartment
• retighten the load reduction screw
• unfold the tray (luggage cover screen
• close the boot
• unlock the roof striker plates
• switch on the ignition
• unlock the boot cover by pressing the roof control switch
