REPLACEMENT BOOT RELEASE CABLE

1 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE BOOT LOCKING CABLE (Lower part only) .

Remove the circlip (1) holding the pin at the bottom .

Slide the pin (2) at A in order to release the cable retaining grommet (3) .

Completely unscrew the fixing (4) .

Free the cover and the cable (5) towards the rear of the notch (6) at (B) .

Remove :

• THE BOOT TOP COVER LOCKING MECHANISM
• the boot release cable

2 - REFITTING

Replace : The boot release cable .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Test operation .

NOTE : in order to ensure that the release operation of the boot top cover is correct, make a precise adjustment using the knurled nut C .
