REMOVAL - REFITTING BOOT ASSEMBLY

1 - REMOVAL

Change the vehicle into the coupé version .

Lower the windows .


Open the luggage compartment (1) .

Fold up the tray (luggage cover screen) (2) .

Remove :


CARRY OUT THE HYDRAULIC UNIT LOAD REDUCTION OPERATION AT (6) .

On the right-hand side : Cut the tie-wraps ; Move aside the hydraulic pipes of the mechanism .


Release the lower (7)striker plate by pushing on the hook (8) and moving aside the boot lid .

Close the boot .

IMMOBILISE THE BOOT UPPER COVER .


Remove the boot struts upper and lower retaining clips (9) .

Unclip the hydraulic pipes retaining clips (10) .


On each side :


Unclip the connector (13) and disconnect it .

Cut the tie-wraps (14) .

Release the electrical harness .


Fold the roof in the boot (Two operators are necessary) .

Remove :

On the right-hand side :

Remove the hexagonal wrench from the guide .

Close the boot upper cover .


Open the luggage compartment .

Place the u-clips in the locking position .

REMOVE THE STRUTS (16) .

NOTE : two operators are necessary .

Close the boot so that it is in contact with the lock, without locking it .


NOTE : in the event of removal for reconstruction of the structure, on each side mark the position (17) of the plate (18) .

Remove the fasteners (19) (On each side) .


Remove the boot assembly (Two operators are necessary) .

2 - REFITTING

Two operators are necessary .

NOTE : the roof is in the folded position in the boot .

Fold the plates (18) .

On each side : RELEASE THE TENSION ON THE BOOT HINGE MECHANISM STOP .

Fit :


1st person : Check the clearances and flush fitting (A) pushing the boot forwards (B) and retain it in this position .

2nd person : Check the position of the plate (18) with the mark (17), Tighten the fastenings (19) .

Open the luggage compartment .

Check that there is no boot operating stress .

Refit the struts (16) only .

Place the u-clips in the unlocking position .

Close the boot .

On each side : SUPPORT THE BOOT HINGE MECHANISM STOP ON THE ROOF BRACKET .

CHECK THE CLEARANCES AND FLUSH FITTING OF THE BOOT .

Tighten the fasteners (19) to 1 ± 0,2 da.Nm .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Carry out a roof/boot assembly operation check .

CHECK THAT THE BOOT IS SEALED .
