REMOVAL - REFITTING BOOT COVER TRIM

1 - REMOVAL

IMMOBILISE THE BOOT COVER .

Mark the position (A) of the mechanism on the cover .

Remove the mountings (1) from the mechanism .

Remove the fixings (2) from the trim .

Detach then remove the trim .

2 - REFITTING

Tighten the mountings (2) by hand .

Visually check the trim is flush with the boot upper cover .

Tighten the fasteners (2) to 0.8 ± 0.12 da.Nm .

ADJUST THE BOOT UPPER COVER LOCKING MECHANISM .

Tighten the fasteners (1) to 0.95 ± 0.15 da.Nm .

Test operation .
