REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR BRAKE CALIPERS (BOSCH CALIPER SERIES 4G)

1 - REMOVAL

Slacken the handbrake cables .

Uncouple the handbrake cable from the lever (1) .

Disconnect the pipe (4) .

Plug the brake pipe .

IMPERATIVE : plug the caliper orifice .

Remove :

• the bolts (2)-(3)
• the caliper

2 - REFITTING

Refit the brake caliper .

WARNING : fit 2 new bolts (2)-(3) (coated with threadlock) .

WARNING : follow the order indicated .

Tighten the bolt (2) to 11 da.Nm .

Tighten the bolt (3) to 11 da.Nm .

Reconnect :

• the pipe (4) to the caliper

Tightening torque 1.5 da.Nm .

Grease the handbrake cable end location in the lever (1) .

Re-connect the handbrake cable to the lever (1) .

Bleed the brakes .

Tighten the wheel bolts to 8.5 da.Nm .

Adjust the handbrake .
