REMOVAL - REFITTING POWER STEERING PUMP

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] High pressure union socket (-).0720.E .

2 - REMOVAL

WARNING : carry out the operation with care in order to prevent the entry of contaminating particles .

TU INJECTION

REMOVE THE ANCILLARY DRIVE BELT .

DW8 ENGINE

REMOVE THE ANCILLARY DRIVE BELT .

DW10TD ENGINE

REMOVE THE ANCILLARY DRIVE BELT .

ALL MODELS

DRAIN THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT .

Unscrew the pipe (1) using the tool [1] .

Remove the bolt (2) .

Move aside the pipe (1) .

Plug the openings .

Remove :

• the style cover (3)
• the screenwash reservoir filler neck (4)

Remove :

• the bolts (5) and (6)

TU INJECTION

Remove :

• the bolt (7)

DIESEL DW

Remove :

• remove the bolt (7) using a socket then a 6-sided Allen key

ALL MODELS

Move aside the pipe (8) .

Plug the openings .

Remove the power steering pump .

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Tighten the bolts on the pulley side first .

Tightening torque(s) :

• the bolts (2) to 2 da.Nm
• the bolts (5), (6), (7) to 2 da.Nm
• high pressure union on the pump : 2 da.Nm

BLEED THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT .

IMPERATIVE : use new fluid when filling and topping up the system .
