REPLACEMENT REAR CROSS ARM FLEXIBLE BUSHES - REPLACEMENT

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1]Extractor FACOM U53 (K2 + T2) .

[2] fitting drift (-).0539 F .

[3] fitting abutment (-).0539 G .

[4] nut and bolt (-).0539 B .

[5] Removing drift (-).0539 E .

2 - REMOVAL

Remove the rear suspension .

Observe the direction of the flexible mountings by means of the notches (1) .

Cut the rubber section (A) of the flexible mounting (1) at the metal section (B) .

Detach the flexible mounting using a chisel .

Fit the tool [1] on the crossmember arm .

Remove the flexible mounting (1) using the tools [1], [5] .

3 - REFITTING

Use a new flexible mounting .

WARNING : observe the direction of the parts .

Fit the following tools to the flexible mounting and the rear crossmember :

• [2] fitting drift
• [3] fitting abutment
• [4] nut and bolt

Tighten the assembly until the shoulder on the flexible bush meets the rear cross member arm .

Refit the rear axle .
