REPLACEMENT REAR HUB-BEARING (DISCS)

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

Hub-bearing refitting tool comprising :

• [1] (-).0617-K sleeve
• [2] abutment ring (-).0617-J

2 - RECOMMENDED TOOLS

[3] three legged extractor U20 FACOM .

3 - REMOVAL

Remove the rear brake disc .

ANTI-LOCK BRAKES

Remove the wheel sensor .

ALL MODELS

Remove the cap (1) .

Remove :

• the nut (2)
• the washer (3)

Extract the hub (4) using the tool [3] .

Extract the bearing inner race (5) using the extractor [3] .

4 - REFITTING

The hub-bearing assembly cannot be separated, it must therefore always be replaced after removal .

Clean the stub axle before refitting .

IMPERATIVE : remember to re-fit the bush (6) before refitting the hub-bearing .

Tighten the sleeve [1] to the stub axle .

Fit a new hub bearing (4) to the guide sleeve [1] .

Screw the bush nut [2] to the guide sleeve [1] .

Tighten the bush [2] until the hub bearing (4) is fully home .

Remove the tools .

Fit :

• the washer (3)
• a new nut (2) (face and threads greased)

EW10J4 ENGINE

Tighten the nut (2) to 20 da.Nm .

Lock the nut (2) .

ALL MODELS

Fit :

• a new cap (1)
• the brake disc

ANTI-LOCK BRAKES

Fit the wheel sensor .
