REMOVAL - REFITTING REAR DAMPER

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

Suspension height setting equipment (-).0916 .

[1] Suspension compressor (-).0916-A .

[2] Set of 2 shackles (-).0916-C .

[3] Set of 2 straps (-).0916-B .

2 - REMOVAL

Place the vehicle on a four post lift (To make the operation easier) .

Remove :

• the shock absorber lower fastener
• shock absorber upper securing nut
• the damper

3 - REFITTING

Refitting :

• the damper
• new nuts

IMPERATIVE : do not tighten the nuts .

Position :

• the tool for compressing the rear crossmember suspension
• compress the suspension to obtain a distance X of 317.5 mm between the damper eye centres

Tighten :

• the nut (1) to 7 da.Nm
• the nut (2) to 15 da.Nm
