FITTING FRONT SPRING RETAINING PINS

1 - FITTING

Raise the front of the vehicle .

ROUTE THE RODS [34] INSIDE THE SPRING .

IMPERATIVE : ALLOW THE RODS [34] TO HANG FROM THE SLOTS .

Return the vehicle to its wheels .

WARNING : the hole (1) must be used, to observe the alignment with the shock absorber rod and the hole (2) so that the spring remains correctly centred .

REFIT THE UPPER INSERT OF THE ROD [34] IN THE SPRING UPPER CUP .

TURN THE ROD [34] A QUARTER TURN .

WARNING : CHECK THAT THE ROD INSERTS [34] ARE IN PLACE ON THE UPPER CUP; when the cup is pulled down, the square of the nipple must be clearly visible .

Lift the vehicle, wheels suspended .

2 - REMOVAL

Return the vehicle to its wheels .

Remove the bolts (3) or the rubber beads (4) .

RELEASE THE RODS [34] FROM THE SLOTS .

REFIT THE UPPER INSERT OF THE ROD [34] IN THE SPRING UPPER CUP .

TURN THE ROD [34] A QUARTER TURN .

PULL THE ROD [34] DOWNWARDS .

IMPERATIVE : ALLOW THE RODS [34] TO HANG FROM THE SLOTS .

Raise the front of the vehicle .

Remove the rods .

Return the vehicle to its wheels .
