CHECK - ADJUSTMENT CLUTCH CONTROL

1 - PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Check :

• there is no mat on the clutch pedal lower stop (1)
• the positioning of the assistance spring (2)
• there is no obstacle to the clutch pedal travel
• the fitting (3) of the cable on the bulkhead
• the routing of the clutch cable
• the clamping (4) of the cable to the chassis leg

2 - CHECK - ADJUSTMENT

Check that there is a minimum clearance of (X) .

If this is not the case : Turn the bolt (5) .

NOTE : if the clearance is too great this could result in a creaking sound .

Pull the fork at (A) :

• if the fork moves (5 mm minimum) : the clutch cable is adjusted
• the fork does not move, replace the cable

Check the fork travel .

If Y ≥ than 24 mm :

• adjustment correct

If Y is less than 24 mm :

• replace the clutch cable
