MODIFICATION THROTTLE HOUSING

From engine number 3188984 : The throttle housings for the TU1JP engines are plastic .

From engine number 2752476 : The throttle housings for the TU3JP engines are plastic .

1 - EARLIER ASSEMBLY

Aluminium throttle housing (1) .

Throttle housing heater (2) .

Heater supply harness (3) .

2 - LATER ASSEMBLY

The heater is not fitted on the new assembly .

Plastic throttle housing (4) .

Diagnostic plug bracket (5) .

Heater supply harness (6) .

3 - EFFECT ON REPLACEMENT

Parts Division will now supply only the new assembly .

4 - EFFECT ON METHOD(S)

IMPERATIVE : replacement of the throttle housing (4) : close the heater supply harness connector using the diagnostic plug bracket .

Clamp the harness (6) using tie wraps (7) .
