REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTER

1 - REMOVAL

DW8 ENGINE

Remove the style cover .

DW8 ENGINE

IMPERATIVE : before carrying out this operation, drain the body by opening the bleed screw (1) a plastic tube allows draining of the diesel if this operation is not performed, fuel will run into the clutch mechanism .

DW8 ENGINE

Remove :

• the click-on fitting (2)
• the collar (3)

DW8 ENGINE

Move aside the cover (4) .

Remove the fuel filter (5) .

Clean the bottom of the bowl .

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Check the presence of the seals (6) .

3 - BLEEDING

DW8 ENGINE

The circuit is reprimed by operating the pump (6) until its operation becomes difficult (maximum 20 pump strokes) .

NOTE : the air in the circuit is bled to the injector return pipe through a valve calibrated at 400 mbars (clean bleed system) .
