REMOVAL - REFITTING POWER UNIT

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] cross beam (-).0102-D .

[2] Chain .

[3] fitting drift (-).0317 .

[4] ball joint extractor (-).0709 .

[5] {{N12427}} outil de déclippage des rotules (-).0216-G1/G2 .

2 - REMOVAL

Place the vehicle on a two-post ramp .

Remove :

• the battery, its tray and its mounting
• {{n12428}} le cache du boitier de servitude intelligent
• the air filter and its duct

Disconnect the control unit .

Remove the stone shield panel .

Drain :

• the engine (if necessary)
• the cooling system
• the gearbox

Remove :

• the front wheels
• the cooling radiator
• THE ACCESSORY BELTS
• {{n12429}} le cable d'embrayage au niveau de la fourchette de commande
• {{n12430}} le compresseur de climatisation (et le brider)

{{N12431}} écarter le câble de commande d'embrayage .

Remove :

• the gearbox control ball joints (1) - (2) - (3) ; using the tools [5]

Detach :

• the steering ball joint (using the tool [4])
• the pivot ball joint
• the torque reaction link (4)

Remove :

• the drive shafts
• the exhaust pipe

Disconnect, unclip and separate the harnesses, pipes and cables connected to the gearbox or engine .

Put the tools in place [1] - [2] .

Suspend the engine ; Using tools [1] and [2] .

Remove :

• the connecting plate (5)
• the right-hand engine mounting (6)

Remove :

• {{n12432}} la cale elastique (7) du support moteur gauche
• {{n12433}} le moteur par le dessus du vehicule, en prenant soin de proteger le condenseur a l'aide d'un carton rigide

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Always fit new Nyloc nuts .

Use the drifts [3] to fit the final drive oil seals, having greased the space between the seal lips .

Coat the left engine mounting pin (9) with grease SPAGRAPH .

Tighten the nut to 6.5 da.Nm .

Position the power train .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Fill or top up :

• the gearbox
• the engine (if necessary)

Fill and bleed the cooling system .
