REMOVAL - REFITTING CRANKSHAFT LIP SEALS (TIMING GEAR END )

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Extractor on pump seal (-).1374 .

[2] Tool for positioning pump seal (-).1355 .

2 - REMOVAL

Drain the engine oil .

REMOVE THE TIMING BELT .

Screw the body of the tool [1] into the seal using the nut (1B), then tighten the bolt (1C) to extract the seal .

3 - REFITTING

Refit the new seal on the crankshaft output shaft without damaging it when passing it through the timing pinion drive groove .

Position the seal with the tool [2] .

FIT A NEW TIMING BELT .
