MODIFICATION LOCATION OF BUILD CODE (DAM)

The tyre inflation pressure label has changed to include the paint code and build code sequence .

1 - TYRE PRESSURE LABEL

1 - 1 - EARLIER SPECIFICATION

(1) : Tyre pressures .

(2) : Tyre size .

(3) : Approved tyres .

1 - 2 - NEW SPECIFICATION

The tyre pressure label consists of 3 separate parts .

(1) : Tyre pressures .

(2) : Tyre size .

(3) : Approved tyres .

(4) : Build code .

(5) : Serial number .

(6) : Paint reference .

(7) : VIN number .

(8) : Checking tolerance .

WARNING : on certain vehicles, the build code no longer contains 6 characters but 7 .

(A) Tyre inflation pressure label on edge of driver's door .

3 - BUILD CODE - PAINT CODE - SEQUENCE CODE

3 - 1 - EARLIER INSTALLATION

3 - 2 - LATER INSTALLATION

(7) : VIN label, stuck to the bodywork, and visible from the outside through the windscreen .

(9) : Label stuck to the upper left shock absorber support (in the engine compartment) indicating :

• Build code
• serial number
• paint code
