REMOVAL - REFITTING FUEL FILLER NECK

1 - REMOVAL

Empty the tank using draining equipment .

Place the vehicle on a lift with rear wheels suspended .

Remove :

• the right hand rear wheel
• the mud shield

The securing bolts (1) (Fuel filler neck) .

Remove the clips (2) .

Mark the pipes (3) and (4) .

Cut :

• the pipe (3) at X = 55 mm from the elbow (A)
• the pipe (4) at Y = 150 mm from the union (B)

Remove :

• fuel filler neck

2 - REFITTING

Re-assemble in the reverse order to dismantling .

WARNING : do not transpose pipes (3) and (4) when refitting the filler neck .

Connect pipes (3) and (4) using the quick release couplings supplied by Parts Div. .
