REMOVAL - REFITTING COOLANT PUMP

1 - REMOVAL

DW10TD ENGINE

drain the cooling system .

DW8 ENGINE

drain the cooling system .

DW8 ENGINE

remove the timing belt .

DW10TD ENGINE

remove the timing belt .

DW10TD ENGINE

DW8 ENGINE

ALL MODELS

Remove :

• the coolant pump (1)

Retrieve the coolant pump seal .

2 - REFITTING

IMPERATIVE : always replace the coolant pump seal .

Clean the joint faces with an approved descaling product (Do not use sharp or abrasive tools) .

WARNING : the joint faces must not have any trace of knocks or scores .

Fit the pump (1) using a new seal .

DW10TD ENGINE DW8 ENGINE

Tighten the bolts (2) to 1.5 daN.m .

ALL MODELS

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .

refit the timing belt .

DW10TD ENGINE

refit the timing belt .

DW10TD ENGINE

fill and bleed the cooling system .

DW8 ENGINE

fill and bleed the cooling system .
