ROCKER ADJUSTMENT

1 - REMOVAL

Remove the battery tray .

Disconnect the battery .

Remove :

• the style cover
• the air cleaner

Remove :

• the compact coil unit (1)
• the air distributor (2)
• the cylinder head cover

2 - ROCKER ADJUSTMENT

Method of adjusting the exhaust valve at the outlet .

Adjustment values (Cold) :

• inlet : 0,10 mm
• exhaust : 0,20 mm

3 - REFITTING

apply sealant E10 to the bearings 1 - 5 of the camshaft at (D) .

apply sealant E10 to the 4 holes fixing the cylinder head cover at (E) .

Replace the cylinder head bolts and offer them up manually .

Tighten the bolts to 1 da.Nm. in the order indicated .

Refit new plug recess seals using a 30 mm socket .

Fit :

• the air distributor
• the compact coil unit

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .
