REMOVAL - REFITTING BOOT UPPER COVER LOCKING MECHANISM

APPLY THE OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR HYDRAULIC PUMP LOAD REDUCTION .

IMMOBILISE THE BOOT COVER .

1 - REMOVAL

Remove :

• the fasteners (1)
• the boot upper cover trim (2)

Remove the fasteners (3) .

Disconnect the connector (4) .

Detach the cable retaining clip (5) .

Lift then detach the cable from the hinge pin .

Detach the sleeve from the mechanism retaining support .

Release then detach the cable (7) and its sleeve .

Repeat the operation for the second cable .

Remove the locking mechanism .

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Tighten the fasteners (3) to 0.98 ± 0.11 da.Nm .

ADJUST THE BOOT UPPER COVER LOCKING MECHANISM .
