Hello there has anyone had a problem with getting these wheels balanced ? Taken them to local tyre centre and they wont put tyres on them as they said there are not any centre caps ? and would be a pig to get balanced  . Just my luck but cant be that bad if the Peugeot gimps can do it.

What do they mean by a centre cap? Is it one that covers the wheel nuts?

My alloys are 17 inch like the peugeot ones where the nuts are exposed (you don't need to take the centre cap off to access them) and I haven't had any problems getting the wheels balanced.

Unless then need the centre of the wheel off so they can put it on the machine?

The actual wheels have not got a centre cap i.e the centre of the wheel with the lion logo on. They said this causes trouble when trying to balance the wheels, but today i have found a place which will do them and said it didnt really cause a problem :? So i will find out on Sat.
