That pic looks like it's somewhere in the city judging by the pavers and what looks like a monorail pylon in the background. Don't recognise the place though.
Liane, I saw a cayman green cc heading towards the airport in AM peak hour traffic, I think on Monday morning - was that you ?

Maybe we should have another drive/meet up ? I know some of you joined the gti guys last month, but I couldn't make it.
So, how 'bout it? Somewhere nice for lunch? Anyone interested ?
Os, I've been busy putting heaps of k's on on the odometer. I bought the car on 29/01/04 and now it's got almost 10,000k's on it - can't believe how quickly they rack up !
Liane, did you have to wait long for your car in that colour ?

lunch sounds good. hope it will be a good turn out, i missed out last one.
i waited 12 weeks for the cayman green to come in!! but for me it was worth the wait. i got the leather done as well. and it's green and black interior. with the aluminum console. and yes i know how much the k's really stack up. im on nearly 2000kms and i just got my car on 21/05/04.
anyone else interested??

Well, lets get the ball rolling: Date, Time and Place !
If this weekend, my preference is for Saturday as I have plans for the rest of the weekend.
I don't really mind where we go, but somewhere scenic and not too crowded would be ideal.
My suggestion: How 'bout Cronulla ? (Very convenient to me!) There is an EXCELLENT fish & chip shop there. If it's a good day, we could pick up some lunch and find somewhere near the beach to eat and chat within view of our beloved CC's. Alternatively, if the weather is foul, there are a few good yum cha places within 20mins drive (Hurstville, Blakehurst & Kogarah - much easier for parking than Chinatown) so we would still have a plan.
Let's get some ideas going and see which one gets the vote.
Os - will your film crew be joining us for this one ?

Of course I would come along, along with my new camera!!!! Lots of pics!!
As for this Saturday though, or any Saturday, that will be bad as Candy has Japanese classes till 1:30pm. If Sat suits everyone else, then I can always join up with you guys around 2pm.
I've just posted about the French Car Day on 11 July. Lets get the CCs out there amongst all the other French cars!!
I've also been planning a drive day for us along the Old Pacific Highway. Those bendy roads would be great to cruise along with the roof down! We can go up to Wiseman's Ferry and catch the car ferry across the river. Huu - you sort of did this route a while ago.
Just some meet ideas.
