I got my CC on Wednesday & already like it better than the 206GTi I had before.

So far, all seems to be OK with the car, it is watertight (has been out in some heavy rain) and it seems to be much better built than the GTi.

How long does it take for the gremlins to appear in general? i.e. if I have got a "bad" car, should I be expecting problems already or soon?

The only thing the monkeys have got to put right [so far] is to replace part of the centre console that was delivered with a nice deep scratch in.

So far, so good.... but for how long?!

leaked after 10 days (in extremely heavy rain). Unclipped the roof and reclipped it back which stopped the flow. If it happens again then its back to the garage :(

Mine leaked from the roof joint above the drivers seat from day one but after a year no new ones have developed so if yours doesn't leak now you should be good.

I felt one drip the other morning (had her for 3 weeks), driving to work, it appeared on my right arm sleeve........it does seem to have been raining forever though.....hasn't happened since (fingers crossed, touching wood.)

I've washed the car today and made sure I opened the roof and went all along the seal to make sure there was no water left from that.

Have to hope she doesn't have to go back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! already had a minor run in with the sales manager !!!!

I think I could live with that.

There are two people at work who have SLK's and they say that in their's they get the odd drip

In the Puma EVERY time you opened the boot the rain poured in and got everything wet thru. That was really annoying.

It was a bit of a worry yesterday when I picked up my new cc to see a drop or two of water in the drivers door well. I am telling myself that it had had a good valet

Oh poo !!!!

It appears my leak is back with a vengeance. In the beautiful sunshine of yesterday I had the roof down, went to my mates house (put roof up) and the skies opened and down came the rain. When I came to drive home bout 10pm loads of water came in the drivers side when I went round a corner  so in order to preserve my jacket I stuck a tissue up there.

This morning there was nothing, tissue wasn't still there I took it out last night when I got home. Today it's been a bit rainy but nothing dripped when I drove home from work, however as I write this it's absolutely p***ing down and am very scared of what's going to await me in the morning.

It's going in next week for them to repair the chip they did on the day I collected it. I know I have to get them to look at the roof but am so concerned bout them making a balls up of it, having read stuff on here.

Good luck with it.

I'm worried too about the dread leaks appearing.

My door doesn't seem to shut flush and I don't know if I should mention it to them when it goes in next week incase they do somthing and it springs a leak.

Will this rain never end !!!!!!!!!!

I stuck a tissue where I thought the leak was on Friday and it got soaked through but yesterday when I went out there was nothing, and it had rained continually.

Maybe it's just trying to annoy me.

This is doing nothing to help me quit smoking !!!!!!!!!!!!!! arghhhhhhhhhh !!

Took my little beauty to the garage :( to have it's dent done and by the time I got there from a meeting I was soaked...the leak has got progressively worse

When I shut the door at the garage (dunno if it was lucky I was there or not) the seal prised itself away from the top of the window, basically the window when the door is shut pushes the seal off (if that makes sense)

Ho hum, lets hope they don't make things worse......but......the guy who sold me the car has still remained very helpful and pleasant.....he said he'd deal with it and I can ring him direct rather than going through to the service bit....!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm am now car-less and very sad for the evening. :(

My car went in today for various things one being that the drivers door did not seem to close flush.

They have tightened this and done various other things and I am well chuffed.

I was out this evening with my friends son in the passengers seat and he noticed that the black seals round the window seem to meet on his side but not on my side, the drivers side.

You know I probably would never have spotted it and I have no idea what it was like before it went in today. But before today I have not had a hint on a leak.

Now paranoia has set in and I am waiting for a leak. Just to give the neighbours a laugh I have poured a bucket of water over the car, near the seal and again no leak.

Do other peoples seals meet? If you see what I mean.
