OK everyone, here are directions to the Sainsburys Car Park (at The Causeway, Staines) meeting point for the convoy into Thorpe Park.

Maps are available on http://www.sainsbury.co.uk/storelocator/ or http://www.streetmap.co.uk

If you're coming from the north:
Come off the M25 Jn 13. Go down the slip road and when you get to the roundabout, go STRAIGHT ON but get over to the left hand lane - you'll be on the A30 (following signs for Egham/Bagshot) which runs next to the M25.

If you're coming from the south:
Come off the M25 Jn 13. On the slip road, get in the right hand lane. At the roundabout at bottom of the slip road, go ALL THE WAY AROUND so you're doubling back on yourself. When it looks like you're getting back onto the M25 the wrong way (!), get over to the left and you'll be on the A30 (following signs for Egham/Bagshot) which runs next to the M25.

{IGNORE THE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY THAT'S SIGN POSTED A30 Staines/W London.}

Now:
Follow the road and in a bit you'll go round a 180 degree bend - get over to the right. You'll merge with another road - get over to the right again. You'll be going UNDER the M25 now and will come to a roundabout.

GO ALL THE WAY AROUND THIS ROUNDABOUT so you're doubling back on yourself, following signs for A320 Chertsey (and a tiny brown sign for Thorpe Park!).

Go over a mini roundabout then at the next mini, turn right into Sainsburys. See you there

(Thorpe Park is 2 miles down the road)

---------

For everyone coming from the WEST:
There will be a mini-convoy leaving from Sainsburys in Bracknell on the Bagshot Road on the A322, about 5 miles north of M3 Jn 3 and 5 miles south of M4 Jn 10.
Times - Julia to confirm!

Please let me know if you want to convoy with the Berkshire crew or make your own way there (in your own convoys etc!)

Thanks
Julia :D

Doubt it was your fault aimee - if i'd have seen you driving past and i was a plod, i'd probably have made up an excuse to pull you over myself! (was he more interested in your fone number than your driving licence?) :D

Hahaha! No unfortunately not Mr AWOL, think it was something to do with my dangerous driving, the police weren't too impressed with me undertaking a Skoda in poor visibility conditions

But hey, I got let off again so its fine, just delayed me slightly and caused me to loose my mobile phone in the car ( 26 missed calls by the time I got to Bracknell got VERY annoying!!)

If you live around the Swindon area or are passing through to go to Thorpe park the are we all going to meet up and cruise down together .
Also would any one mind if I took photos of the day as I have a new digital camera so I can then post all the photos.
It should be a greaty day and well looking forward to it.

I think Ben (Ben302) and Len (The Big Kung) have already cornered the market in being the forums unofficial photographers (as long as you want pictures of Julias bum  ) but feel free to snap away. Just remember I'm in the military so any snaps of me will have to have the eyes "blacked" out SAS style...:rotfl:
