Email from a Happy Customer
Simon,
Gave the car a little run last night. I was grinning ear to ear. I
thought the ride quality would have suffered, but It actually feels
better.
When the
suspension was standard I sometimes heard a slight creaking at the rear. However
this appears to have disappeared!! The only problems I can see with doing this
is that I think I will be changing my tires on a regular basis as now I seem to
be going in and out of corners much faster and tighter.
Why Peugeot didn't use this set up as standard on the CC is beyond me.
Surely they must have experimented with suspension set up. As for the handling
it is a totally different car.
Cheers Nik.

OOOF !
Wow what a difference...
Such a better ride... Much more solid and responsive.... and even though its only 40mm it is sooo noticeable...
Simon - thanks for this - Well worth the cash.
I'll be seeing you soon for the colour coded trim (when can you get some in ?).
Thanks again (very happy bloke here !)

If you're just wanting to lower the front then all you really need to do is change the front springs to shorter lowering springs. These have less coil than the standard springs but are stiffer to compensate for less travel. Companies such as Eibach make them for the 206 and should fit the cc. They don't cost much (around £40) but then you might want to uprate the shock absorbers to stiffer ones to match the springs otherwise the shocks just wear more quickly.

Of course the front can be lowered on its own
But you will then see that the back of the car will sit far too high and that needs to be lowered as well
Eibach springs are around £90.00 (The Best and recommended)
Or Ventura Springs for £70.00 (Good)
Or AVO's for £55.00 (Poor in my opinion)

Hi I have just bought a Blue 206cc se and im looking for ideas on how do mod it up abit the problem being is that i am only 20 and getting hammered with insurance already. I was thinking of putting big whells on it but what would the biggest i could get with out rubbing and could i get it lowered so they would tuck under the arches.
