just got at 206cc se2.0 and i am looking for some suggestions on how to modify it a bit. i dont want to do anything to the car that would invalidate my insurance though.
any help would be appreciated. thanks.

i've fitted 17 inch kahn rss to mine, 28mm
offset,ie,perfect fit,no scrubbage,i'm now going to lower it, my dealer didn't mind the wheels but i haven't asked them about the
suspension yet..
ps,the wheels are £1000 + with tyres.
also,it's always best to inform your insurance company, some don't mind, but they all have different opinions on mods..

I got all the pug kit on mine. SP grill, quad lights, lexus rear lights, arch extensions = no insurance increase since they are genuine Pug fitted.

Then i stcuk on my 4" devil backbox ..wicked

Fitting a K & N filter comes immediately to mind, for some £35 it will give you a few extra bhp, and only a five minute job.

Any modification will invalidate your insurance unless you inform them. Even something which you consider to be cosmetic provides a get out clause for the insurance company if you one day have to put a claim in. The statement "is the car modified from standard UK spec" pretty much gives you fair warning !. I'm not saying don't mod but if you do always cover your back with the insurance company!
