Hi there,

with the weather worsening, I decided to book my car in to sort out the samll leak from the back right side... the guy at the dealer first sd they tried to fix it with the existing seal, improved it but they ordered a new seal anyway.... he then sd it would be in tomorrow to finish the job by tomorrow afternoon ish.... I sd ok I might as well leave the car there then.. he sd ok....
He then phoned me saying that the warehouse where they get the parts has it in back order! I could take more that a week to get 1! I sd I would go get the car back tomorrow as Im not leaving it there for a week! My question is.... why did the guy say the part was available straight away at first? hmmmm do any of you smell some kind of dodgy stuff going on here?

They never seem to have parts when it is warranty work!

However, seem to remember somewhere in Peugeot's 'customer promise' that if a part isn't available next day, you don't have to pay for it?

Anyone been paying for parts and got em for free?

well the only thing I hope is that they haven't made it worse! I read of someone that broguht their CC in for a leak and instead of sorting it out the monkeys made it worse!

Oh, and I am not gonna pay a penny for the new seal! Although it's a new part it is the original one that is faulty... on a car that's only 2 months old!

don't want to be negative, but ............... :P

new seals took 3 weeks for me back in february - and after fitting the leaks were still there. being so impressed with their efforts i let them keep the CC for good :)
