Well I have just experienced my first problem. The interior carpet on the drivers side is coming away slightly and has to be tucked back in constantly - from the clutch area along the door, for about 10 inches.
I get the urge to just stick the sucker down but somehow don't think this is a good idea.
Any suggestions?

take it back to your dealer and get them to fix it. it's a very common problem on peugeots but especially with 206's as the carpet is cut too short.
you would think they would learn from their mistakes and get bigger carpets but you can't teach monkeys new tricks

I actually have a pin at the opposite side of the carpet (fromthe pedals) that keeps the carpet in place.... hmm just thought, r we talking about the same thing? I mean the carpet mat!.....

Talking about the fixed floor covering that comes with the car rather than any addon that you might put your feet on. So not the mat. The fixed - or so called fixed - carpetting.I actually have a pin at the opposite side of the carpet (fromthe pedals) that keeps the carpet in place.... hmm just thought, r we talking about the same thing? I mean the carpet mat!.....
