Hi,
I was wondering if someone knows if it's possible to install a turbo on a 206cc.
So far the only mayor engine modification I've seen is that Ecosse car with a throttle body conversion, but that's about it. It would be great to have a 200bhp+ cc, don't you think?

Saying that the new Peugeot Sport 206PS, due later this year is up for 180 bhp; but will they dare put it in a CC?

Sorry, I've only seen small snippets in the Motoring Press, but apparently 180Bhp 206PS is due May onwards?

I think they were going to put the same engine in the top of the range 206 Estate but decided not to.

The latest new regarding the 206PS is as follows:

Peugeot have 4 "206PS" prototype cars on test at the Ryton Plant in Coventry.. The car has a 2.0 Non turbo engine fitted.

The engine has been developed in partnership with Lotus.. The Lotus/Peugeot contract terms state that the car must leave the production line with 186bhp at the flywheel.

The previous Manifold problem has now been solved.. But there is now a issue with under bonnet temperatures and engine cooling.. Currently engineers are working to shoehorn radiators into the already cramped engine bay!
The talk now is that the car will not be available until End 2002 early 2003

No Cost available at present...

If its 180 at the fly wheel then it will be quite a bit less at the wheels

if you put a turbo under the hood
your engine is not going to like that
your engine wont last that long as normal
it's better to tune with chips and mufflers
and airfilters or you could put a NOS
that's wild

You got a good point there reintje.
By the way, do you knows how the NOS works (how much bhp does it adds, is it safe, how to install it, will it work on a cc).
Any info about this subject would be very appreciated.

Nos only works at the touch of a button. It is mainly for 1/4 mile racing.
Check this link
NOS

By the way have you seen the film Fast and the Furious they use this alot for 1/4 mile racing.

you have all sorts off nos you have automatic
systems( very expensive)and you have the manual system where you push a button that is placed at your steering wheel you also can have dubble or triple injection where you can push 3 times so you get 3 nos boosts
and that my friends is quite cool i have a friend who has a nos installed in a fiat punto gt and that car is a bomb if i where to tune my engine i would go for the muffler and the chips and the airfilters if thats not enough hp yet then consider nos

And if you know can you give me any info about installing a turbo? ANy turbo kits out there especially for the cc (basically I own 1.6 version.) Please HELP...:???: :???: :???: :???: :???: :???:
