I'm not entirely sure how much it costs...I think you should just be charged for the time on the rolling road as opposed to remapping the chip. You only pay for the chip once. They just plug in a laptop and adjust the mapping accordingly to make it efficient for the new system. Sorry I can't be any more help...perhaps someone out there who actually HAS had it done can explain. What I've been saying is from research.
