Error code - p1160

Hi

Does anyone have any experience with the above error code ? Its for a 2.0 cc

When you come to a stop and the revs sit at 800, the revs jump and bounce between 1000 and 1500 by itself and the anti pollution comes on, the code reads as p1160 and sometimes p1161.

The pedal is non responsive, but turning the car off/on clears the revs issue.

Depends a lot on which code reader you use ..

Peugeots (and Citroen) really need PlanetPeugeot or a PSA specific code reader. Otherwise you end up chasing a code that isn't the correct one ..
