Roof beeping disable

Hi
My roof opening mechanism is u/s.
I am using car with roof closed only.
Warning alarm is constantly running
Is there a way to disable this?

Disconnecting the beeper (assuming you can find it) would prevent other alarm conditions being annunciated. Afaik, the only way is to eliminate the problem, which is probably caused by one of the roof microswitches. There is plenty of info on those in this section.

Disconnecting the roof ECU may silence the alarm, but then the windows won't work, as window control in the 206CC is via the roof ECU!

Try opening & closing the roof manually, then finish off by not closing the latches, use the switch to close till you hear both side click (lock) then lock the latches.. worth 5 mins to try if you don't have Planet.

Check my recent post about the plug behind the boot lining .. if this comes loose it will think the book is open and bleep over 5mph
