Hi everyone
Ive just bought a 206cc 54 plate quicksilver for a bargain £300,(kings lynn, Norfolk area) and even though its a high miler at 132k, its got full history and fairly clean, and so far it drives lovely. so hoping to get a few tips along the way from you all and ensure she keeps going for many more years

A new bargain
Re: A new bargain
Welcome. I hope the roof works.
Re: A new bargain
IanL the roof works great, but im buggered if I can get the boot open by itself, will need a new clutch as well, and power steering seems to be odd, as in it works then stiffens, had a new pump last year though, so im sure the forums will become a handy resource
Re: A new bargain
I don't know if this is the problem, but the boot does not unlock with the central locking. You have to unlock it with the key, and then press the button in to release.
Re: A new bargain
yep, figured that out in the end IanL. all I gotta do now is drop a new clutch in her, and shes good to go
