Post by yummy »

hi
i have a 206cc 52 plate 2.0l petrol

it suddenly stopped while driving normal no intermit ant fault just cut out.
with ignition on all electrics light up, will turn over but will not fire.

with a basic code reader i get two fault codes
P0351 coil A primary/secondary circuit malfunction cynlender 1
p0352 coil bprimary/secondary circuit malfunction cynlender 2

have changed coil pack and plugs both from wilco (plugs are NGK) still not running so changed crank sensor still not running. as I've said will turn over but no attempt fire up.

thanks in advance of any assistance

Hi GrandadMonkey.
as far as i'm aware the timing belt is intact. I would assume there would be damage to the head or engine if broken and would not turnover, also would that throw up the fault codes I have listed.
will check belt tonight.
thanks for the reply

Think Grandadmonkey may be right. Coil pks don't usually fail all cylinders at once, and the engine will still turn with a broken belt, but it will bend valves. It will sound like there's no compression on a couple of cylinders
