OE Battery

Post by scallybert »

Any ideas on the best way to find out what the original equipment battery is for a 2004 2.0 206CC ?

Recommendations on a replacement would also be useful.

Halfrauds will sell you the wrong one I bet. And £99 is expensive!

Try carparts4less

IIRC it should be 190mm tall on a CC. Try search on this forum. It's been asked before ... A lot!

I have just used the "Battery Finder" on http://www.yuasa.co.uk/.

It yielded up http://www.yuasa.co.uk/ybx3027.html, which a Google search indicates can be had for around £60 incl. VAT, see here, and the datasheet shows it is 190 mm high.

Well they might try. But did not succeed. Thankfully now you can enter car reg and it brings up the correct one.

Yep I know it was not the cheapest, but it was the quickest I could get.
