Abs fault.. I think

Post by ItsRia »

OK so I own a 2002 206 hdi sw and I am having issues regarding my brakes. I've been on forums looking for help but I cannot find any.

My issue is my abs is working constantly every time I brake, it started as an intermittent fault but now is as regular as the need to brake! It even makes the noise of the abs working whilst not braking but this does not engage the foot brake. However there are no faults (apart from airbag -passenger side) its never shown a fault . please can some one advise me where or what to do next :welcome: :love-thx:

We had this on my son's Clio and the ABS ring on one wheel had split open .. you'll need to get them all checked out as it's not the sensor that's the problem but it is sensing a bigger gap on one than it expects.

It wouldn't pass with an ABS fault either.
Cheers Col.
