Can't close my roof

Post by jo williams »

Hi everyone, I was putting the roof down on my car and without thinking switched the ignition on. The roof stopped half way through and wouldn't go back down or up for a while. It went down in the end but did the continuous bleep all the way home and now I cannot get it up again. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance

You say it went down eventually, did it complete this under power, or did you manually complete it yourself??

As long as water isn't falling out of the sky, the roof can be down.

Hang on - you say you switched the ignition ON?
The ignition should be on all the time when operating the roof, or you're killing your battery.
You've probably confused it a bit but it's do-able. Can you put your location in your profile please?
There may be someone close enough to help.

I turned ignition off by mistake - so I think I have the same problem.

The roof continued to collapse itself but now no response (apart from beeping) when trying to use electric roof
