LONDON roof repairer ?

Post by Rosso »

Just got a 2011 model second hand and the roof got stuck down. Constant beeping when pressing the switch. After an hour of fiddling in sainsburys car park I was able to manually get the roof back up. The error still exists and now it's stuck up.

One confusing part of the reset was the boot u clips. The video tells you to lock them manually until the falut is fixed and then put them back to auto lock mode and crank up the hydronic pressure lock. However how can the roof work properly all the time the boot locks are on the manual position ? Yet realsing them with the fault leaves the boot unsecure.

Anyhow, too many possible faults and switches to even know where to begin. Any mechanics in the London area who could help ?

Ok, I'm in South East London. Typical! Don't mind taking a look if you happen to be in this area.

Great - I just need someone who knows what they're doing with it, the garage across the road didn't have anyone specialised. I'm pretty certain its just a sensor issue or something and I don't Wanna get ripped off paying a fortune on a new CPU ! That I could drive it and you next week? Are you able to private message me your contact details.

Sorry about the restrictions Ross, but those measures were put in place due to spammers on the site.
Hope you two can sort something out. Keep us posted.
Cheers Col.
